Coach Steph — Ninjas Program
Coach Steph is the Owner of Rare Breed MMA and the architect behind the academy’s highly respected Ninjas Program, Bloomfield’s premier martial arts curriculum for young students. With a 1st Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo and active training in Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu, she blends traditional discipline with modern coaching methods to create a training environment where kids thrive.
Her teaching style is built on structure, patience, and positive reinforcement, helping students develop the core life skills that define the Rare Breed culture — focus, self‑control, coordination, balance, confidence, and respect. Parents consistently praise her ability to connect with children, maintain high standards, and make every class both fun and productive.
As the Head Coach of the Ninjas Program, Coach Steph oversees all curriculum development, instructor training, and student progression. She has built a system that introduces martial arts fundamentals in a safe, age‑appropriate way — giving kids the foundation they need for long‑term success in MMA, BJJ, and life.
Her leadership has helped Rare Breed MMA become one of the top youth martial arts academies in Essex County, serving families from Bloomfield, Montclair, Belleville, Glen Ridge, East Orange, and Newark.
